Volume 1 is a story about a man named Christian who traveled to the land of Immanuel. On his journey, he experienced many difficult situations; however, he also had wonderful experiences that encouraged him to complete his trip. This is a rewriting of the classical story by John Bunyan into a more concise and easy-to-read text suitable for children who are in elementary school. But also, older children and adults will enjoy following along on this journey in a meaningful way.

Volume 2 is about Christiana’s journey, Christian’s wife. At first, she did not want to set out on this journey. She had no desire to accompany her husband and allowed him to go alone. Later, however, she realized how wrong she had been, and her heart was filled with sorrow for her sins. One day she received an invitation and began preparing for the journey with her four sons. A young woman named Mercy joined them. Together they set out on the same pilgrimage that Christian had traveled. They followed the same road he had taken, but their experiences were different.
