March began differently for all the citizens of Israel. It is not that we have never experienced wars or missile attacks before—but one never truly gets used to it. Still, we remain filled with hope that the God of justice will lead this war toward the fulfillment of His purposes. Throughout human history, no nation that has set itself against God’s people, Israel, has ultimately prevailed.
For decades, the Iranian regime has openly threatened to destroy Israel and has repeatedly called for death to America. We wish these were only empty threats. Yet Israel’s enemy has spent years accumulating conventional and unconventional weapons—funded by the taxes of Iranian citizens—while waiting for what it believed would be the right moment to destroy this small nation, the apple of God’s eye.
There is never a “convenient time” for war. Yet, speaking symbolically, there could hardly be a more meaningful moment to confront Israel’s enemy than during the festival of Purim—when God once worked in the heart of the king of Persia (modern-day Iran), Ahasuerus. Against the evil plans of his chief advisor, Haman, the king made the right choice and saved the Jewish people from destruction. Today we pray that the nations of the world will also make the right choice—to stand with Israel and not with evil.
Here at HaGefen Publishing, we continue our work faithfully even under the sound of sirens. We thank God that much of our work can be done from home. Our team members are spread across the country—from the north to the south—and traveling on the roads is not always safe these days. Despite these challenges, we are grateful for a fruitful month of February and invite you to join us in prayer and thanksgiving.

We thank God for the opportunity to bless 300 active-duty soldiers from believing families with HaGefen books! In honor of the Purim holiday, the Grace and Truth congregation prepared Purim gift packages for soldiers, and HaGefen contributed three books in Hebrew for each soldier: Portraits of Faith by Joel Beeke, Does Prayer Change Things? by R. C. Sproul, and Can I Trust the Bible? by R. C. Sproul.
We also thank God for our cooperation with the Netivah Center, which ordered 15 copies of The Pilgrim’s Progress, told and Explained for their conference.
We thank God for the Beit Eliyahu congregation in Haifa and for the opportunity to provide them with 12 titles from our most recent publications.
We are grateful as well for the FIRM organization and for its extensive work in Israel in support of local Messianic ministries. As a token of appreciation for their service, we were delighted to provide 130 copies of some of our best titles for the leaders of the ministries connected with FIRM during their recent conference.

Finally, we thank God that even in the midst of the current situation, we are able to continue our work and reach our people through quality literature that clearly points to the Messiah.

For the current military situation in the Middle East, that HaGefen Publishing will be able to continue supporting the local community of believers and the nation of Israel with much-needed reading materials.
For the 300 soldiers who have received HaGefen books—that they may be encouraged and strengthened during these difficult days.
For the HaGefen staff as they continue their work from home.
Pray for wisdom and provision as we upgrade our website and seek the right person or company to care for our app, which requires substantial improvement.

Praise with us:
We thank God for a fruitful year in 2025, in which He enabled us to publish 11 new books in Hebrew by authors such as R. C. Sproul, Joel Beeke, Sam Allberry, Jeremy Linneman, and others, and to release second editions of six additional titles.
We praise Him for the printing of 9,170 Christian books and 41,000 outreach tracts, and for the grace to distribute 5,100 books free of charge or at a subsidized price.
We are grateful for our partnership with Mission EurAsia and for the printing of 3,000 Russian New Testaments, distributed among local Jewish Russian-speakers.
We thank God for our partnership with Jews for Jesus, and for the release of 3,000 copies of the Hebrew edition of Does the Jewish Bible Point to Jesus? by David Brickner this past month.
We praise Him for the opportunity to distribute 90 discipleship books during the National LCJE Conference this January, strengthening the local body of disciples and leaders, and for the privilege of contributing books to the Israeli College this month.
We also praise God for the return of the last Israeli hostage, Ran Gvili, to be laid to rest in his homeland.

Please pray that the current tensions between Iran and the USA will not disrupt the daily life of Israeli citizens, and that HaGefen will be able to continue its work faithfully and without hindrance.
Pray for wisdom and provision as we upgrade our website and seek the right person or company to care for our app, which requires substantial improvement.
Pray for the HaEdut audio recordings, that God would raise up the right and gifted people for each role.
